“Photographer Kenji Croman lives and works in Hawaii where he’s developed an incredible ability to photograph waves.”
wow… and more importantly, how…? 🙂
A really good question! So amazing!
I use a heavy duty water housing to cover my Canon 50D. I also use a pair of swimming fins to swim out to break, then I usually wait until the wave is breaking and time it so that the wave goes over my head while I shoot the photo. Sounds easier than I describe it, but I think you get the idea 🙂 Thanks for your interest. Check out my site, there’s plenty more photos of my waves.
It truly takes more than just good equipment so hats of to you! Good stuff!
